At Bates Office we are committed to making it easy for our customers, associates and communities to join us in protecting the environment and to help our customers, prospects and suppliers reach their environmental goals by offering a wide assortment of environmentally preferable products, providing recycling programmes for toner and ink cartridges, proactively working with you to help you achieve your environmental objectives, from operating in an environmentally friendly manner, to meeting specific procurement targets.
We also operate our Business in a sustainable manner to work towards eliminating ALL our waste - sent to landfill by 2015.
The steps we are taking to achieve this target include collecting customers confidential waste and ensuring all waste collected remains within the UK and turned into either newspaper print or toilet rolls, collecting and recycling all toner and ink cartridges at all our business locations, ALL other cardboard, paper, plastics, wood and scrap metal is and will be collected and recycled.
We have also introduced returnable and reusable crates and tote boxes in order to reduce the volume of cardboard dispatched to customers and we are helping our customers meet their environmental targets through the introduction of battery recycling schemes.
